So good to have a day off the bike! I needed that.
Lyle made a delicious breakfast of poached eggs on toast with avocado, bacon and tomatoes.
I painted a night scene then went out with fellow cyclist Caity, to town to get groceries and stop by the bike shop.
Canmore is a beautiful town. The mountains surrounding it are impressive and like a painted backdrop.
Was able to nap and journal as well as plan the upcoming weeks ride.
Spent time socializing and enjoying my hosts stories. Lyle made pizzas in his special pizza oven. So good!
Looks like I'm gonna hit up more mountain climbs tomorrow...hoping the rain stays ar a minimum.
