A few words...
Followed National Cycling Route 1, but it was all sorts of terrain and paths.
My seat post collar broke, so I managed to cycle (with luggage it's a real skill;) standing, to nearby town of Rainham. No bike shop there. Took the train to Chatham. Managed to find a bike store after asking 3 people, got problem resolved.
Continued on.
Made it to Gravensend. No host. No place to camp. No hostels, so I splurged and am in a hotel tonight. It's a sketchy town and I don't like it much.
Utterly spent. Last long day tomorrow. Host awaiting me :)
